How Lesson Intelligence hours are counted
Recorded lesson time that is transcribed, summarized, analyzed, and added to student memory. Usage rounds to 5-minute increments with a 15-minute minimum.
Generating a lesson plan or grading an essay uses one AI action. Generating several lessons in a series uses one action per lesson. Automated lesson follow-up can also use actions when it updates progress or prepares the next lesson. AI level tests have their own allowance. Student records, bookings, and payments don’t use AI actions.
Yes. Choose Start Free and verify your email. New accounts receive a 30-day trial of Pro tools without entering payment details. When this account trial ends, you return to Free unless you’ve chosen a paid subscription.
You’ll review the plan you selected, then continue to Stripe to enter payment details. Checkout shows the trial duration and first payment date. After the trial, your selected subscription renews every 4 weeks unless you cancel. For Pro, the hours and price you chose carry through to checkout.
Open Account → Subscription and use Cancel trial before the first payment date. This ends paid-plan access immediately and returns your account to Free. The email-only account trial has no subscription to cancel and doesn’t charge you automatically.
The QwikTeach payment fee applies to student payments, separately from your teacher subscription. On a $100 student payment, a 5% QwikTeach fee is $5 and a 4% fee is $4. These percentages describe QwikTeach’s fee; payment processing, currency conversion, or bank charges may be separate.
When you use all your AI actions or level tests, those tools pause until the allowance resets or you upgrade. Your student records, bookings, and payments remain available. If your Pro Lesson Intelligence hours are used or reserved for other lessons, additional lessons won’t receive recorded-lesson processing until more hours are available. You can still add notes and use Pro’s AI planning tools. There are no automatic Lesson Intelligence overage charges.
